MICROWAVE
Microwaves are of important use in households day today life operations and these can be made up of different versions depending on the customers preference, these can be made of turn tables or diverter motors to circulate microwaves and they can be of combined designs with oven settings and accessories.
When microwaves are produced inside the cabinet by the magnetron they are bounced around by the coated metal plate of the microwave cabin and when they bounce they heat and through any food products that are placed inside. in this process magnetic and kinetic energy is turned into heat energy.

MICROWAVES use micro waves to warm up food products, these use microwaves created by magnetic fields to create heat, these work in a way that they activate and speed up the movement of water molecules in food products and as a result friction is created and heat is produced as bi-product and these heat created makes the food products warm depending on the users preference.
Mode OF OPERATION
The amount of heat needed is set according to the energy needed to speed up the water molecule reaction in the food products and this is determined in terms of power rating (KW)

01. MAGNETRON
This is designed to create magnetic fields that produce heat energy to the water molecules to speed up movement hence heat that create warm temperatures to warm up food.
04. TURN TABLE/diverter motor
ITS used to rotate food products placed in the microwave to cut accross microwaves produced with in the cabinet so as they can spread fully around the food products.
02. TRANSFORMER
The transformer is designed in the way that it has got two output voltages that is the low voltage side that connects to the magnetron and high voltage output that connects to the high voltage diode which is connected to the metal casing. at the high voltage side its anticipated to be 500v+ AC.
05. Interior Design
its made up of coated metal plates that help to bounce microwaves inside the cabinet for effective performance. and light bulb for light emissions inside the cabinet
03. high voltage diode
This is connected from the high output voltage side of the transformer and parallel to the low voltage output of the transfer and magnetron.
06. micro switches
these motor the position of the cabinet door so as to determine safety of the user before microwaves are produced for any selected microwave program.
Frequent microwave faults
This fault could be due to faulty microwave components or electrical faults.
this is due to microwaves not being circulated properly with in the microwaves and this could be due to faulty magnetron

SO far the study hasnt indicated serious dangers of microwaves produced in domestic appliance though its not advisable to be exposed to them like any other beams.

The magnetron is tested by visual inspection and its advisable to look out for any kind of defects on the magnetron of the magnetron seal.
