electrical SCOPE of work

Residential and business structure

For all electrical woks to be commissioned and regarded safe valid for use they must be in line with British standards follow the electricity at work regulations among other regulations as per the 18th editions.

Pipe Work

This is the intial stage of electrical works and is done in line with the services plan design.

Second stage of electrical works for laying cables and joint termination as guided by the building plan

inspections

All works to meet standards must be inspected visually to avoid any rising errors before testing takes place, this is done to look out for any unterminated joints, loose connections and uninsulted conductors etc

testing

This include both dead tests and live tests which include insulation resistence, Contunity of CPC, Earth loop impedence test, Continity of Ring final circuit and Polarity Test

Reports and schedules

After all testing, readings must be recorded on and test schedules completed so as to make sure the installation meets standards and safe for comissioning

certificates

Completion reports must be issued to the client an this include Electrical Installations Condition Report(EICR) after major electrical works or Electrical Minor Condition Reports(MEICR) for minor works like replacing a single socket
